It’s a five-seater with high seating offering spacious legroom and great driving view of the road. For its class, it also has ample interior cargo room.

The 2018 Acura RDX comes standard with a 3.5L V6 engine outputting 279 horsepower. It came standard with FWD. The handling and AWD options are considered responsive and able to handle varying road conditions. It features a combined fuel economy of 23 MPG which is not fantastic, but not so bad that you consider investing in a gas station. Interior technology is about standard for the class.

Shocking is what you may think when you see the price of the 2018 Acura RDX. The crossover has good ratings, and being only two years old, the savings to buy used are not great.

MSRP for the 2018 Acura RDX at brand new was between $35,800 and $44,000. To purchase one today, the prices range from $28,600 to $39,900 which is not a great price decrease from new.

The 2018 Acura RDX has a high rating from experts and drivers. The few complaints tend to be the smaller engine with less horsepower and less refined handling compared to other members of its class. It retains its value and is a quality buy, but because of this it can be close to the same price to buy new if you can get a discount or are willing to compromise on some of the additional features or options.

It is a 2nd generation model that was updated in 2016, so if you’re set on an Acura RDX, but the cost isn’t appealing, you can always take a look at the 2016 and 2017 options.
